Places of worship for each religion are very different depending on their beliefs. For example in a Buddhist temple the environment is a very colorful and close relationship with the other practicing Buddhist around. During their ceremonies they all sit on mats on the floor so they are lower than the Monk because it is disrespectful to be higher then him. All of the colorful posters and art on the walls are pictures of their Gods and pictures of Buddha. The pictures tell stories of ancient Buddhist beliefs and stories like how Buddha became enlightened beneath the big tree by the river.
In a Jewish synagogue, the main focus of the room is the Torahs. The Torahs tell stories and the history of the Jewish religion. Each service they had usually includes a reading from the Torah. It’s important to their religion because they re teach the history to all Jewish people of their ancestors. They are kept in the center of the room so everyone can see them. It is full of Holy teachings of the Jewish religion.

Buddhism has the most distinct place of worship. I believe this is because; there religion is so unique and different. They incorporate their God, Buddha, into the decorations, architecture, and rituals in their worship. Unlike other religions that have a prophet who brings the gospel to the people, Buddha is the doctrine. He is the Holy One and his whole life to enlightenment is the foundation of their religion. When we went to the Buddhist temple in Buxton, all the walls were covered with colorful, posters of Buddha either meditating, his time of enlightenment or teaching the eightfold path. The walls were also covered with flags of the Buddhist and there was a special place where u bows before Buddha and worship. Buddhism's worship place ahs the strongest connection because they have Buddha in everything they do.
