I'm going to have to disagree with Alessandro on some of his points. Although i believe that MUhammed would be a great leader, I also believe that every prophet would be just as good as the other in terms of the UN Secretary General. In there own religion each prophet is described as an amazing leader to there people, even, in Jesus' case, didn't have that many followers. In today's day and age, if your the UN Security General, no matter what your going to have a following, so it doesn't matter if Jesus didn't have follower in the day, if he's the UN Security General he's going to have a following. Muhammed and was just as much a prophet in his religion, as any prophet in any other religion, and therefore they'd all make good Security Generals. They all have the same inner core beliefs of good, so therefore they'd all have the same goals of peace.
I believe Muhammad would make the best U.N secretary General. Muhammad had so much to offer to his people. He is a great leader, not self centered at all, grateful, caring, respectful and a kind person and so much more. Why would you not want a person such as a leader kind respectful caring? He is not afraid to speak up and to tell people what they think is wrong or to go into war and fight he is not all calm and all spiritual like some of the other leaders. Muhammad is really caring for his people he always thinks about them first instead of himself. Muhammad is a “man of god” he is very religious and not some guy that just is there only to lead and rule. He prays and tells others the word of god.
I disagree with Billy A. Christianity is not really all of a modern religion, sure there the biggest but they are not the most modern. Islamic people or Buddhists or Jews are just as modern as us in like technology if that is what you are talking about. But if you mean as in a more new religion sure they are pretty new. But just because they are modern would not mean they would be a good leader. A Buddhist would make a great leader he would just think about everything differently then everyone else there is nothing wrong with that. There is nothing wrong with thinking a little bit different. Things might just be a little different in the council.
